NeuroChallenge 2026 · research prototype

A good week can hang on one thread.

Many older adults keep a full life because one person quietly makes it possible: the daughter who drives, the neighbour who walks with them. TIEFORGE finds that thread before it breaks, shows what would be lost, and helps people prepare a realistic backup, with the person in charge of every decision.

How it works, in three moves

1

See the week

The person says what matters to them. TIEFORGE notes who or what makes each outing possible, and finds the outings that hang on one helper.

2

Test what if

Switch one helper off and watch what is lost: outings, and the people they keep in touch with. No prediction, just a stress test.

3

Prepare a backup

Suggest realistic options, check them (routes, timing, whether anyone has actually agreed), then follow up. Unchecked ideas are never presented as solutions.

Meet the people

Each story is a different kind of fragile week. Pick one and follow it step by step.

Honest by design. Every person here is invented, and the numbers are computed by our research model from invented inputs. This is a working proof of concept, not a tested intervention: no older adult has used it yet.
